Davos Climate Consortium Forms

Climate Groups Collaborate to Address Global Warming.


A group of organizations and event organizers with a shared interest in advancing progress on the global climate and energy will come together on January 15th in Davo Switzerland at the start of the World Economic Forum.


The Consortium seeks to advance progress by fostering collaboration among those most active in climate, energy, and sustainability in Davos with a kick-off meeting called the Davos Climate Summit.

"Of the thousands that are in Davos during the World Economic Forum, we felt that providing a connecting point early in the week for those serious about climate to find others for collaboration," said Brett Johnson, CEO of Altru Institute, a New York-based Think Tank focused on the Climate & Energy crisis.

Initiated by New York-based Altru Climate Project and Zurich-based Yes We Trust, its fundamental belief is the critical role of collaboration in addressing the climate crisis. "Bringing all those organizations working on climate is simply a good idea for the mission of climate impact," said Zdenka Rezkova, founder and CEO of the Green Accelerator, which has been running an important climate tech showcase in Davos for several years and will be hosting again in January 2024.


Each organization recognizes the importance and value of collaboration and the critical function of awareness as the first step and has pledged to bring its unique perspective audience for increased reach and connectivity.


Consortium Founding Members:

  • Yes We Trust. An innovative approach to foster greater collaboration through a global network membership and development of Wellness Resorts worldwide.

  • Altru Climate Project. An initiative of the Altru Institute is creating a global platform for climate and energy solutions and a Climate Impact Rankings to identify the projects most capable of scaling.

  • UnDavos Summit 2024. Hosting investment pitch sessions throughout the week.

  • Green Accelerator. Green Accelerator has taken lea,dership in presenting companies and with support from MIT on Thursday, January 18th.

  • PDIE. Tokyo and Berlin PDIE network is the leading nominator for the Earth Shot prize.

  • Atlas Capital. Singapore-based Venture Fund focused on global climate network.
